PIP-2 is a second edition, which expands the student population to include gifted students with other disabilities, specifically attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and specific learning disability (SLD). Students with high cognitive ability and a disability are referred to as “twice-exceptional.” It is also our intention that PIP-2 is accessible to professionals who work with twice-exceptional students anywhere in the world.
